We are broadly interested in using genetic and genomic approaches to understand the biology of the human fungal pathogen Cryptococcus neoformans. We aim to answer questions about how genomes evolve and how genetic/genomic variation affects multiple virulence relevant phenotypes, including heat tolerance and drug resistance.
